She was transported in critical condition to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, where she was declared dead.
Police launched an investigation into the cause of death.
This is not the first time that an Israeli died after being electrocuted.
As we reported earlier, three people were killed after being electrocuted while fishing in northern Israel, according to emergency workers.
Magen David Adom officials said that three young men, all around 25-years-old, were electrocuted this morning in the town of Yesod Hamaaleh in the Upper Galilee.
At 8:51 am, the Magen David Adom center received a call about three young unconscious men near the fish ponds in the Chula Reserve.
A Magen David Adom team arrived at the scene and began to treat the three young men. The team attempted to revive the men, but soon declared all three of them dead.
An initial investigation revealed that one of the men was asked to install a device for feeding fish in the pond and suffered an electric shock.
Another person, who was at the scene, was electrocuted while trying to save him, while a third person, who came to their aid, was is also electrocuted.
Superintendent Ron Levy, Chief of Police in Rosh Pina, said: "One of them went into the pool to place a device for feeding fish, at which time he was electrocuted. His friend came to help him and he was also electrocuted, and after him a third. The three men were employees at the fish ponds. The owner of the fish ponds is currently under investigation. It is still too early to determine if there was any negligence in the case.”
