Police are looking to arrest and charge several thieves for allegedly breaking into the Bnei Brak City Hall and stealing about 120,000 shekels in cash, according to police reports in Israel.
Dan region Police said that thieves broke into the Bnei Brak City Hall located on Jerusalem Street, and stole a safe that contained 120 thousand shekel. The incident occurred on Wednesday night.
The safe was located on the first floor of the building, where the collections department is located. Employees use the safe to store cash that the city collects throughout the day.
The robbers were able to remove the built in safe.
When employees arrived the next morning, they were surprised to discover that the safe was missing. That is when they called police.
Ramat Gan Police investigators arrived and launched an investigation into the incident. Police have not yet identified any suspects.
