A man was arrested and charged with harassment related charges after he threatened a prostitute with a knife in order to get his money back, according to police reports in Israel.
The Internal Affairs Bureau filed charges this morning in the Tel Aviv District Court against the officer, 20, serving in the border division as part of his army service. Police said that the man threatened the prostitute with a knife and demanded that she give him his money back after he had sex with her.
According to the indictment, the police officer identified himself to the prostitute as a police officer. The court ordered the officer to remain under house arrest until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
The incident took place in Ramat Gan last week. According to the indictment, the accused walked on Hayetzira Street along with his friend. At one point, he saw the prostitute and decided to hire her for services. She agreed to have sex with him for 100 shekels.
According to the indictment, after they had sex, the officer asked for his money back, but the woman refused. In response, the officer told her: "I'll give you punch, and you can have the money." He then left the house. Ten minutes later, he returned to the house and asked her to have sex with his friend.
When she refused, the officer pulled out a knife and threatened her. He also demanded his money back. At that time, the officer took out his badge and identified himself as a police officer.
The woman still refused, and the two left. Immediately after the incident, the woman filed a complaint. During questioning, the police officer confessed to the charges.
