A man was arrested and charged with child sexual abuse related charges after he sexually assaulted three young girls inside a day care in Tel Aviv, according to police reports.
The District Court of Tel Aviv indicted a man of Cholon, 60, after being accused of molesting three children, aged three and four. According to the indictment, the man committed the acts when he volunteered to help refugee children in a day care in Tel Aviv.
According to the indictment, the defendant volunteered from April to June at the organization that helps children of refugees in Tel Aviv. In May of this year, while sitting in the day care with children, he placed a three-year-old girl on his lap, and while she was sitting on his lap, he began to rub himself for sexual satisfaction. In two other cases, he touched the behinds of two girls aged four, for sexual satisfaction.
Prosecutors demanded the suspect be detained until the end of the legal proceedings. "The sexual acts against minors attributed to the suspect, indicate that the man cannot control his sexual urges," prosecutors said. During questioning, the suspect told police: "I do not know what happened to me." The defendant admitted to committing some of the acts, but claimed that he did not do it for sexual satisfaction.
