Jewish kitchen business firebombed |
Jews are demanding answers after another Jewish business was firebombed for the third time in two weeks, according to police reports in Montreal, Canada.
The B'nai Brith organization of Canada is urging the Montreal police to get to the bottom of the attacks before people are seriously injured, the group wrote in an email statement.
"The police have to explore all avenues of investigation and stop these attacks," Steven Slimovitch, who is the National Legal Council of the organization, said.
The B'nai Brith expressed concern on behalf of the Jewish community of Montreal on the frequency of the attacks and the way they have been able to continue unabated. "This is the third Jewish-owned company that has been burned in less than two weeks, and our concern for the safety and welfare of the community is high. The police must take concrete steps to make sure that the Jewish community is not in danger," Slimovitch said.
Over the weekend a kitchen cabinet showroom wholesaler belonging to Jewish businessman Joe Aisenstark was attacked. This attack follows the attacks in the last two weeks of kosher restaurants Café Shalom and Chops.
