A human rights group is taking the fight against anti-Semitism to smartphones and tablets by creating a new app, the Licra group said in a press release.
The French group accelerated the fight against racism by launching a smart phone application this week designed to speed up the removal of racist graffiti.
The application allows users to take pictures of offensive remarks, geo-locate the offence and send a message to local authorities responsible for removing them through the Licra group, the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism.
"You cannot fight against racism and anti-Semitism in the 21st century as we did in the past," Licra President Alain Jakubowicz said. The application is available for download free of charge.
