Netanyahu and his lookalike on television show

(Scroll down for video) The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu turned into a hilarious comedian on an Israeli television show in order to entertain the Israeli people, according to video uploaded to the internet.

The Prime Minister appeared pretty relaxed in comparison to his usual serious face during an appearance on the Israeli comedy television show, "Eretz Nehaderet", or A Wonderful Country, to celebrate the Israeli independence day.

Netanyahu seemed happy and at peace as he sat next to Mariano Edelman, a Netanyahu comedian lookalike who usually impersonates him on the weekly program.

The two men wore identical black suits, white shirts and blue ties. Netanyahu can be seen on the video looking behind the comedian’s tie to make sure their white shirt’s matched.

Netanyahu then took the opportunity to joke at the expense of his lookalike, political opponents, and even his political partners, including Yair Lapid, the new Israeli Finance Minister and main coalition partner of Netanyahu, who initially made his name as a television presenter.

Amid a seemingly serious description of his duties on the day of independence, the Prime Minister suddenly asked the host: "What ministry would you like, education or finance?"
When the presenter was perplexed, Netanyahu continued: "People I know all end up in politics, so let's get it over with right now."

“I saw the show and I loved it, as it showed the human side of Benjamin Netanyahu. He can be a serious guy and strong leader as well as a normal average funny man,” Albert Lucero, 32, of Queensland, Australia told YourJewishNews.com after watching the video.Mobile video not loading?
