(Scroll down for video) A teacher was arrested after allegedly having sex with her underage student in a Walmart parking lot, according to police reports in Maryland.
Amanda Kay Miller, 35, of Whiteford, Maryland is accused of having sex with her 15-year-old student and performing oral sex on him.
Miller, has been charged with sexual abuse of a minor, a third degree sexual offense and two counts of fourth-degree sexual offense.
Officials received a tip about the alleged abuse, and met with the student. During the interview, the student told detectives that he had sex with his teacher many times. According to the police report, the 10th grader, told investigators that he communicated with Miller through text messages, phone calls and they even exchanged nude photos with each others.
A school system spokesperson said Tuesday that Miller had been placed on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
“You know how it is. Teenage male students will never turn down the advances of their good looking female teacher, but they do tend to brag about it to their friends, which in this case led to the teacher’s arrest,” Jessica Rogers, 21, from Carroll County, Maryland told YourJewishNews.com.
This is not the first time a teacher had a sexual relationship with her student. The Special-Ed teacher was jailed after becoming pregnant by her underage student. McKenzy Kelly Watson, 35, a former teacher from San Diego, California, was sentenced to one year in county jail and three years probation but she will be release early from prison after she revealed that she was pregnant.
Watson met the boy when he was a student in her class at New Haven Youth & Family Services, a residential and educational center that treats children 8 to 17-year-olds who suffer from behavioral and emotional problems. She met the 16-year-old student and they had unprotected sex.
Surprisingly, Watson will not have to register as a sex offender, but is banned from teaching. Watson now works in accounting, according to reports. The judge, ordered the defendant to stay away from the baby’s father except to notify him via a third party about pregnancy-related information. The teenager will also be allowed to attend the birth.
