A popular clothing brand came under attack after posting an image of their latest boots arranged as a swastika, according to press reports in Australia.

“Seed” has been criticized for posting what appears to be an image of a swastika on its facebook page.
The company posted a picture of two pairs of boots arranged in the shape of a swastika, the official symbol of the Nazi party in Germany during the Second World War.

It does not help that some of the boots are red and black.
The Seed facebook page received comments from a number of people indicating that the image, facing left instead of right, resembled a swastika, but the company did not respond.

However, it responded to another question from a customer asking how much the boots cost.
The photo, which was published on Wednesday, was removed this morning.

“Companies need to be extremely sensitive to its customers and to the general consumer population out there. Photos, comments and advertisements need to be looked over several times to make sure it doesn't offend anyone. It is good to see that the company took quick action to remove the photo,” Carl Mora, 70, of Sydney, Australia told YourJewishNews.com after learning about the photo.

Denise Haughley, the general manager Seed said he was "concerned" to learn that the image had been interpreted as "more than a display of colorful boots for our children."

"We like to say that this was not meant to offend, and apologize if it has caused any offense," he said.
"Please also note that the image has been removed to ensure that there is no possibility that the image is interpreted differently than expected," he added.
