Luo Dan dressed with his deer head |
There is no shortage of people who are willing to do bizarre things all around the world.
A 32-year-old Chinese painter, Luo Dan, has used a deer head mask every day for the last five years.
He began wearing the unusual costume in 2009 and quickly became accustomed to wearing it during work and when relaxing during his free time.
The painter and designer said that the mask helps him find creative inspiration, and above all, his deer inside.
“The deer, is a domesticated animal," he said.
"By using the mask, I could find an inner peace inside me that has long disappeared. When I put on the mask, I feel I am a deer from inside," he added.
“I love seeing the man in the deer mask every time I go for a walk around the neighborhood. He brings a smile to passerby and especially to the school children who pass by in the morning and afternoon,” Wang Lee Zong, 43, a hospital worker in China told YourJewishNews.com.
It is unclear how long he plans to wear the deer mask, but considering the recuperative powers of the mask it is unlikely that he will give it up anytime soon.
