People are outraged after a Nigerian senator and the former governor of Zamfara, married a 15-year-old girl.
Three years after marrying Marian, 14, of Egypt, which drew massive protests, Senator Ahmed Yerima announced that he married his girlfriend.
Yerima, along with four men who are members of the House of Assembly of the State of Zamfara, were in Egypt a few weeks ago, to celebrate the marriage to the 15-year-old girl.
Marian, who is now 17, and a mother of one, is believed to be the daughter of the former governor's Egyptian driver.
The reason behind the divorce is because in Islam, a man is only allowed to be married to four women at once.
Yerima fought against a new law that would have increased the legal age of marriage to 18, saying it was against the laws of Islam.
