(Scroll down for video) Do you want to send a letter to God, but cannot make the trip to the Western Wall in Jerusalem? No problem.

The Israeli postal service has a unique service, which you may not know about.

The Israeli postal service receives thousands of letters every year asking God for help.

All those letters get hand delivered, and are placed inside the Western Wall.

All you need to do is write your message, place it in an envelope and address it to "To God, Jerusalem."

Your local post office is obligated by international law to deliver the letter to Jerusalem, Israel.

There is a special office designed for these letters, where workers open the envelopes addressed to God, and carefully fold the notes so it can be placed between the cracks of the Western Wall, the holiest site in Jerusalem.

Avi Yaniv, head of the office where these letters are received, said that they also receive letters to Jesus Christ, Virgin Mary and King David.

However, the Chief Rabbi at the Western Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, allows only letters addressed to God, to be placed in the Wall.

People who send letters have one thing in common, they usually want something from God.

One man sent his lottery ticket numbers in the hope that God could help him out.

"They ask God for all kinds of things, but last month I found a letter from a person, who asked for nothing, on the contrary, he thanked God for what he has, a good wife, good house and a good job," Yaniv said.
