A police officer was punished after he was caught recording a sex video while he was dressed in his police uniform, according to police reports in Sweden.
Police also said that the officer committed sexual molestation after sending the video to a colleague.
A disciplinary board heard that the Uppsala police officer, whose name was not disclosed, recorded a sexual encounter in the locker room of the police headquarters, while he was wearing his uniform.
The officer sent the video to a friend, whom he had not met in person, but knew through text messages conversations.
The colleague showed the video to the Board, who ruled that the officer had sexually abused his colleague by sending the video and violated the officer’s sexual integrity.
The board said the officer’s activities damaged the public perception of the police, especially by wearing his uniform during the recording.
The officer was withheld five days pay, and was issued a stern warning not to commit new crimes.
