(Scroll down for video) An elderly Jewish man, who was stabbed by two teens for a pack of cigarettes, spoke out about the attack, according to a report by Channel 10 News.
On Thursday, just after 12:00 a.m., Alexander Prusman returned to his home.
However, before he could enter his house, two teens, aged 14 and 18, demanded that he hand over his pack of cigarettes.
After he explained that he could not give them any cigarettes, one of them stabbed him.. He was rushed to a Jerusalem hospital in critical condition.
“The teens told me ‘you Russian give me your cigarettes,’” Prusman said.
When he realized that he could not escape from the teens, he offered the boys his wallet, but they were not happy with the 20 shekels and stabbed him.
"I tried to get away, but as they approached, I saw that they had a knife. The teen stabbed me, and then took the 20 shekel bill that I gave him," he said.
Prusman was stabbed in the back and chest. After the attack, they left him bleeding and fled from the scene.
"I was afraid that I will die on the street," he said.
