| The hateful graffiti |
A leader of the Women of The Wall group said that she is shocked by the hate filled messages that were left spray painted all over her apartment building, according to police reports in Israel.
The hateful graffiti slogans were discovered on Thursday, on the apartment door belonging to Peggy Siddur, one of the operational managers of The Women of The Wall.
The graffiti said “Women of The Wall are bastards” and “crazies be careful.”
Siddur filed a complaint with the police. This is the second time that Siddur's home was vandalized.
Yesterday, The Women of The Wall held their monthly prayer at the Western Wall. One ultra-Orthodox Jewish man was detained by police after hurling abuse at the women, and several Haredi Jews attempted to silence the women by shouting at the group.
