Police are looking to arrest a gang of armed robbers who held up several Western Union shops in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn, New York.
The gang of Brooklyn thugs found a faster way to transfer money into their purse, Brooklyn Police said.
Three armed men robbed four Western Union stores since early October, hitting twice in East Flatbush, where they made off with $10,000.
"It's very, very scary," Marie Narcisse, the owner of Western Union on Nostrand Avenue, said.
She was working inside the store office, protected by a half-inch thick plexiglass and a closed door, when two teenagers wandered in.
She had seen the two before, out on the street, and decided to tell them that the machines were out of service.
"I felt something is wrong with them," Narcisse said.
She was helping another customer when a third teenager, waving a black gun stormed in.
"I gave them the cash," Narcisse said. "My life is worth more than money," she said.
Police said that the thieves are still on the loose.
