The Australian man found a unique and creative way to get the word out that he is looking for love.
The man has decided to try his luck through hanging humorous posters.
The single man in Sydney, named Brendan, created a simple poster with the title "Lost Girlfriend."
The poster looked similar to a missing child or missing pet flyer.
The poster reads: “If this is you… or similar… please get in touch,” accompanied by an image of actress Scarlett Johansson.
He included his phone number on tear-off strips.
After a photo of the poster was shared on social media, Brendan was invited to a local radio show to explain his reasoning behind the poster.
Brendan explained that Sydney is experiencing a "women drought."
Although there are women out there, he believes that the women are too shy.
Brendan said that he received a few phone calls from the fliers, but it was mostly from guys who called to congratulate him for his idea or just for laughs.
The single man might have narrowed his chances for real love by posting a picture of the 29-year-old actress, Johansson, as not many women look like her.
Actress Johansson surely will not go out on a date with Brendan in the near future, as she is engaged to her boyfriend Romain Dauriac.
During his interview with the local radio station, Brendan clarified that he would be happy to chat or go on a date with any woman who called him.
