(Scroll down for video) People are angry after an Arkansas restaurant fired a waitress because she reported a mother, who was breastfeeding while drinking alcohol.
The server in a Conway restaurant said she was fired after calling police to report the woman.
The server called police on 28-year-old Tasha Adams, who was arrested after the incident on Wednesday. The woman was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The incident occurred at Gusano's Pizzeria, which is located near Dave Ward Drive.
Server Jackie Conners said she saw Adams consume drink after drink, so she decided to call police.
"Being a mom, and just see something like that, a baby who cannot speak up have a parent do something like this, is simply unacceptable," Conners said.
Just a couple of days later, Conners said she was fired for taking the situation into her own hands.
The pizza store manager said that the call to the police was not the reason she lost her job.
Police said on Wednesday, that the 7-month-old child was released to the custody of family members.
