(Scroll down for video) A woman went from being rich and “on top of the world” to broke
because of her gambling addiction.
The rich woman, identified as Ho Shu Wan, of Quarry Bay, Hong Kong, owned three big apartment buildings, which brought in a nice income, after she inherited it from her father.
Sadly, she lost everything to her gambling addiction.
When she was low on money, the woman borrowed a large sum of money from loan sharks.
That was a bad move, from their things started going downhill for the former millionaire.
She was left without cash, and was forced to get two jobs to fund her lavish lifestyle. She also had to take care of her husband and three children.
The woman’s husband is unemployed due to a chronic illness, so he is unable to contribute to the household bills.
The former millionaire took jobs working as a maid for rich people.
When it was time to repay the debt to the loan sharks the woman was forced to sell all three of her properties at below market value to pay the debt.
Sadly, the woman, who was overwhelmed by her situation, committed suicide by jumping out of a window at a mansion where she worked as a cleaner in North Point, Hong Kong.
