(Scroll down for video) A McDonald's manager was short on cash so he decided to rob his own restaurant.

The manager,Felix Jerome Gonzalez-Becerra, 42, of Oakland, California, used a ski mask hoodie to rob his store at gunpoint.

Gonzalez-Becerra left workers at the San Mateo McDonald’s traumatized after he forced all employees into the walk-in freezers before he robbed the place.

Interestingly enough, this was not the first time he robbed his own employer. According to reports, there had been a similar break-in five days earlier at the McDonald's that he also manages, in Pleasanton, California.

On this occasion, Gonzalez-Becerra did not manage to get far.
Police were called and they went out looking for the dark color Chrysler PT Cruiser.

Officers stopped a vehicle matching that description.
Gonzalez-Becerra was ordered out of his car, and after a quick search, officers found the money that was stolen from the McDonald’s, a replica gun, a backpack and a hoodie.

During his interview with police, Gonzalez-Becerra confessed to robbing the two restaurants he managed.
