(Scroll down for video) Prince Charles was seen on video attending the inaugural celebration of U.K.’s new chief rabbi wearing a nice yarmulke, according to video uploaded to the internet.

Ephraim Mirvis used his inaugural address as the new Chief Rabbi of the United Kingdom to congratulate Prince Charles on the birth of his grandson. He also urged peace in Israel and the Middle East.

Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis also spoke about his pride of the British Jewish community, which is known for its charitable giving.
Mirvis was appointed as the 11th Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

An audience of around 1,400 guests attended the ceremony along with the Prince of Wales, the first member of the royal family to attend a Rabbi installation.

Labour leader Ed Miliband also appeared.
Charles was wearing his own blue velvet kippah or yarmulke, decorated with the Prince of Wales feathers.

"May God Almighty bless our leaders with the wisdom to make good and responsible decisions through these tough days, weeks and months ahead," the rabbi said.
