Star of the Camp Gyno advertisement

(Scroll down for video) A Jewish woman launched a business that aims to make girls comfortable about their menstruation period, according to a statement released by Hello Flo.

Every woman has a story about her first period. However, one woman has the epic story, which she shared with the world through a Hello Flo Camp Gyno video advertisement.

In the advertisement, a lonely camper receives her "red badge of courage", and takes the opportunity to become the designated field gynecologist. She becomes "the campers' Joan of Arc," until the other girls discover Hello Flo, which, according to its website, "is a monthly subscription service for the period." It sends customers boxes of tampons, pads and panty liners, as well as a stash of candy.

The founder of Hello Flo, Naama Bloom, said that the idea for the business was born of her desire to have a service for the period beyond a reminder application, and actually provide personal hygiene products. It was a simple business and bright business model than many men did not figure out. "I've certainly had some men ask me what I sell next, as if half the world's population, who menstruate once a month, is not quite a big deal," Bloom said.

It's more than a little refreshing to see an advertisement that shows women having a sense of humor about their bodies.
