Jews who observe kosher laws, can now buy personal lubricant from a popular adult personal products company that are certified kosher, according to a press release by Wet.
“As recorded in the book of Deuteronomy more than 3,200 years ago, Moses gave us the Ten Commandments and the kosher laws. Since then, we've had kosher hot dogs, kosher wine and kosher matzoh. Now, thanks to Trigg Laboratories, lubricants from Wet are also kosher!” The company said in a statement.
After a rigorous two-year procedure of rabbinical certification, 95 percent of all Wet products made by Trigg Laboratories now qualifies as "kosher" as defined by the Rabbinical Council of California, or RCC. Wet is the only kosher certified lubricant in the U.S. or Canada.
To meet kosher standards, all ingredients and equipment in the 52,000 square-foot facility of Trigg Labs in Valencia, California, were subject to strict procedures of "kosherization" and revisions. Wet Kosher certified products now bear the symbol "K" on the back of packaging.
According to Wet founder Michael Trigg, kosher certification is another milestone in the company's commitment to growth and innovation. "We have always maintained the highest standards of production and quality control of our entire product line," Trigg said. "With kosher certification in the coming months, we will introduce Wet in Israel.
