A young girl gave birth to a healthy baby. The baby’s father is a 74-years-old man.
The 12-year-old girl of China gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
A senior citizen of a neighboring village in Qiyang, Hunan Province, China, who allegedly had sex with the girl and got her pregnant, was arrested by police for the crime. Police officers claim that the senior citizen raped the girl, which lead to her becoming pregnant.
Police also claim that DNA tests proved that he was the father of the baby, but the 12-year-old has denied that she had been raped by the man. Instead, she told police that she was repeatedly raped by three of her teachers at school.
Her family believes that the 74-year-old was forced into confessing to the crime, as part of a police cover-up. They believe that DNA was not taken from any of the three teachers because of corruption after being paid off by the teachers.
The family wanted the government to order DNA tests from the teachers to see if they were the father of their granddaughter. Instead, the crime was pinned on the elderly man, who confessed to having sex with the girl.
The girl said that at one point during the investigation, she saw the teachers involved in raping her giving money to police officers. The girl also claimed she was threatened by the school principal to keep silent.
The 74-year-old man, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for allegedly raping the girl and fathering the child with her.
