Car seen slamming into street light pole |
(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested and charged with drunk driving related charges after she was seen on video driving drunk and hitting a street light, according to video uploaded to the internet.
Police spotted the vehicle stopped on the side of Highway 4 and approached the driver, but she denied that she was involved in the incident accident and refused to submit to a sobriety test. After police reviewed video surveillance cameras, they filed charges against the woman.
Police said that the 30-year-old woman of Hadera collided with the pole while she was driving drunk.
Traffic cops spotted the woman during routine patrols on Highway 4 along with crushed street light.
The driver was charged with driving drunk, driving recklessly, refusing an alcohol test, behaving in a manner that caused damage to property and bodily injury, and driving outside of the lane. Luckily, no major injuries were reported, police said.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
