(Scroll down for video) Delta Airlines is optimistic about their new technology, which they claim cures jet lag.
The “Photon Shower” washes away jet lag as you “bathe” in the blue light, according to press reports.
This new technology offers hope to those suffering from jet lag, worldwide. Delta Airlines put the new Photon Shower on display in Long Beach, California.
Jet lag symptoms occur because the body gets out of schedule. The shower will help the body adjust. The shower uses light to change the biological clock of long-distance travelers.
The shower was designed with the help of Dr. Russell Foster of Oxford University, who is a professor of neurology specializing in the effects of light on the biological clock.
The light emitted by the shower mimics the effects of daylight, thereby functioning as a therapeutic energy booster to passengers with jet lag.
