Children and adults usually think of Batman as a crime fighter, but that was not the case in Colorado, according to police reports in Colorado.
Colorado Police said that an alleged robber, dressed in a Batman costume, who with two others burglars stormed the Colorado State Fair, has turned himself in.
Undersheriff JR Hall said the suspect, a 16-year-old, surrendered to Pueblo Police after seeing the video of the break in on television Thursday night.
Security cameras captured the incident early Thursday in the VIP Fair building and the video was released to the local media.
"When police learned of this case, we picked up the 16-year-old male, who admitted to being the same person as the Batman on the video. It was due to the local media that he turned himself in," Hall said.
The sheriff's office filed charges of second degree burglary, criminal mischief and theft.
The other two suspects have not been located or identified.
The three stole televisions, a laptop and an empty cash register. The suspects managed to lock themselves inside the building and had to break themselves out in order to escape from the scene.
