(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested and charged with assault related charges after a driving instructor was beaten in broad daylight because his student failed the state driving test, according to police reports in Israel.

Ashkelon Police said that a 27-year-old resident of Ashkelon attacked his driving instructor after failing his third driving test this week. Video taken from a security camera showed how the man and his older brother, beat the unsuspecting driving instructor.

"I've been a driving instructor for about 10 years, and I would never imagine that something like this could happen to me or any other driving instructor," Yair Ohana, who was beaten and required medical treatment, said.

The video shows one brother breaking the driving instructor’s glasses and dragging him to the street. “He wanted the cars to hit me," Ohana, a father of seven children, said.

"From the scene I went to get medical treatment. My lower lip was split, and my false teeth were broken. I couldn’t sleep all night because I could not believe what had happened to me," he said.

The two brothers fled from the scene, but the older brother was arrested after Ohana filed a police report. The man was charged in the Ashkelon Magistrate's Court with assault and with causing serious bodily injury. Police are still searching for the younger brother.

Defence attorney Shani Farjoin said that her client claims that the driving instructor was the one who started the fight.
