2 men were arrested and charged with kidnapping related charges after luring a little girl to a park in order to sexually assault her, according to a statement released by Israeli police.
The two men were identified by police as Sudanese nationals, and are suspected of leading the five-year-old girl to a park in Jerusalem in order to sexually assault her there, police said Wednesday.
The incident occurred on Nicanor street.
The girl's mother saw the two men walk away with her daughter and immediately called police, who arrived within minutes and began a sweep of the area.
The girl was found near her house with the two men. She was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, for a rape exam.
The two men were arrested and are still being questioned.
The two men will be brought before a Jerusalem judge for a bail hearing later in the week, according to police.
