(Scroll down for video) A man went to the doctor with pain in his abdomen and he was shocked with the doctor’s diagnoses.

The 66-year-old, of Hong Kong, lived as a man all his life. He received a surprising diagnosis after visiting the doctor for a swollen abdomen. The doctor discovered that he was really a woman.

The doctor determined that the swelling came from a large cyst on an ovary. The condition is the result of two rare genetic disorders. The patient, who chose to continue living as a man, has Turner syndrome, which affects girls and women, and is the result of a chromosome problem. Characteristics include issues such as infertility and short stature.

The patient also had congenital adrenal hyperplasia, which are increased male hormones, thereby causing the subject to grow a small private part, a beard and making her appear as a man.

Due to these medical issues, the patient had stopped growing after puberty at the age of 10. He is only 4 and a half feet tall. The patient, who grew up as an orphan, was found to have no testicles, and a history of urine leakage since childhood.

Doctors said there have been only six cases in which both genetic disorders have been reported in the medical literature. Turner syndrome alone affects one in every 2,500 to 3,000 women. The Vietnamese-born Chinese patient decided to continue to live as a man and he might start taking testosterone replacement.

Most males have one X and one Y chromosome and most women have a pair of X chromosomes, but people with Turner syndrome usually have only one X chromosome or lost part of their second X chromosome.
