(Scroll down for video) The Palestinians living in the isolated Gaza Strip are still enjoying some KFC chicken, according to video uploaded to the internet.

Junk-food starved Gazans can now order KFC chicken to go thanks to a new service that brings the fast food menu items from Egypt into Gaza through a network of underground tunnels.

It is not exactly fast food as it takes several hours to get from Egypt to Gaza. Palestinians are paying high prices for the delivery company behind the operation in order to cover the cost of fuel and transportation.

"The deadline to order KFC for delivery on Thursday 6:00 pm is Wednesday night," the delivery company Yamama, writes on its facebook page.
Yamama then orders meals from the KFC outlet in the Egyptian city of El-Arish, about 25 miles away.

“With all the chatter about how poor the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are I wonder how they find the money to pay for the high priced KFC chicken. Seems like they are putting the U.N. aid money and other worldwide aid money to good use,” Stanley Chapman, 21, of Newark, New Jersey told YourJewishNews.com after learning about the Egypt to Gaza KFC smuggling operation.

"We place the order with the KFC restaurant in El-Arish, then we drive with the meals to the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing," Yamama director Khalil al-Ifranji said.
"Someone takes it from there through the tunnels into Gaza. Then, the food is delivered to our headquarters in Gaza City," al-Ifranji added.

Motorcycles then deliver the food to individual locations, with the whole process taking three to four hours.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
