(Scroll down for video) A McDonald's employee was surprised when she saw her stolen car pull up at her drive-thru window.
The employee in Washington State got the surprise of her life when she spotted her stolen SUV at her drive-thru window while the car thief placed an order.
One night, Virginia Maiden of Kennewick, Washington, parked her car outside her apartment complex, but in the morning her car was gone. She called police and reported that the vehicle was stolen and then she went to work at her job at the local McDonald's.
During her shift, Maiden, spotted her 1995 Toyota 4Runner at the drive through window. She immediately called police and officers made it in time to arrest the driver, 22-year-old Katherine York.
“That is what we call the right place at the right time for the employee, but the wrong place at the wrong time for the car thief,” Allen Lewis, 23, of Long Island, New York told YourJewishNews.com after learnign about the incident.
Large amounts of clothes, which is believed to be stolen from JCPenney and Sears, were also found in the car, according to the Kennewick Police Department. Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
