(Scroll down for video) A woman was thrown off an airplane for her non-stop singing.
A plane with many passengers was diverted after a woman refused to stop singing.
An American Airlines flight from Los Angeles en route to JFK Airport in New York, made an emergency landing in Kansas City, Missouri, after the passenger would not stop singing.
Police officers entered the plane and escorted the woman off the plane, while passengers on the plane were warned against taking photos on the aircraft, according to the video uploaded to Youtube. The woman was considered a threat to the crew for refusing to stop singing a Whitney Houston song.
"The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the aircraft for interfering with the flight crew," Kansas City International Airport spokesperson Joe McBride said. "There was a federal marshal on the plane who restrained the woman and put her in handcuffs before she was removed from the plane," McBride added.
“It is ridiculous to call a woman a threat for refusing to be quiet. What’s next? Escorting babies off planes because of non-stop crying? I travel often for business, it is annoying when adults or children are loud, but it is too bad. I have to put up with other passengers,” Jason Nelson, 56, of New York City told YourJewishNews.com after watching the video of the woman being escorted off the plane.
Images captured by a passenger shows the unidentified woman being escorted off the plane while singing Houston’s "I Will Always Love You". After being released from police custody, American Airlines allegedly refused to allow her back on the plane. She had to make alternative travel arrangements to get to her final destination.
According to the spokesperson, the woman blamed her behavior on diabetes.
