The convict received a 60 year jail sentence, but managed to escape. He had surgery which included a boob job and a nose job to look like girl.
The wanted mobster, Juan Rebolledo, was recognized by police and arrested, despite his good looks. Rebolledo, was a member of the "Los Topos" gang in Colombia. He escaped prison after being jailed last year. Rebolledo was sentenced to 60 years in prison for a long list of crimes including robbery, extortion, kidnapping and torture.
After escaping prison, he had allegedly been living as a prostitute named Rosalinda in the northern coastal city of Barranquilla. Besides assuming a new identity, Rebolledo also changed his physical appearance with plastic surgery and breast surgery. In the end, all his efforts failed to fool police. Rebolledo was identified and arrested during a routine stop in a neighborhood known for prostitution.
“Hopefully the mob won't take revenge of the plastic surgeon. After all procedures he went through to look like a girl, police officers were still able to recognize him,” Roberto Martinez, 29, of Houston, Texas told YourJewishNews.com after seeing a photo of Rebolledo as a woman.
Rebolledo’s gang is known in Colombia's capital of Bogota for using women to seduce rich men, then kidnap and torture them for their money. Police said gang members often torture their victims with electric shocks and force them to reveal their PIN numbers from their ATM cards and steal other valuables.
