(Scroll down for video) A new television channel was launched in Israel to keep dogs entertained.
Dog owners are very happy with the new dog channel that keeps their dog entertained while they are out of the house or busy with other things inside the house.
The program is especially designed to entertain and soothe dogs.
It has been produced specifically with the needs of dogs in mind. The colors, the levels of contrast and brightness were adjusted, to be good for the dog’s eyesight since dogs are colorblind. The sound has also been designed to be relaxing and soothing to dogs.
DogTV creator Ron Levi said that although the idea has been developed and geared towards dogs, it was actually his cat Charlie who inspired him to create the DogTv channel.
Many people see their dog as their family member thereby feeling bad to leave them all alone for many hours.
"I felt guilty leaving him alone every day for many hours," Levi said.
Now, this cat has entertainment while home alone.
DogTV has been met with positive reviews in Israel, since it has been launched.
"Everyone is talking about it lately," a resident from Tel Aviv, said.
“I like to watch the channel as well,” a dog lover said.
Israel, is a very pet friendly place, as there are dog parks and dog beaches. Now, there's a new addition, the DogTV.
