(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested after she was seen placing tainted orange juice into a Starbucks refrigerator.

The San Jose, California woman was charged with attempted murder after authorities said she tried to sneak bottles of orange juice filled with alcohol into Starbucks.

San Jose police released additional details about the case Tuesday. The woman was identified as 50-year-old Ramineh Behbehanian. Behbehanian fled the store when a customer saw her taking the bottles out of her bag and placing it in the refrigerated display case. The woman alerted staff who saw Behbehanian flee the store.

The store clerk took Behbehanian’s car licence plate number, and called the police. She was arrested at her home, a short distance from the store. She was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and poisoning.

“I wonder why would she want to hurt random people? It is very scary to think that an innocent purchase of orange juice at your favorite Starbucks can be fatal,” a shaken-up Helen Clark, 35, of San Diego, California told YourJewishNews.com after the arrest of Behbehanian.

Sergeant Jason Dwyer said it was determined that the bottles contained a mixture of orange juice and a lethal amount of alcohol. Thankfully, nobody consumed the juice. So far police have no motive.
