A dozen people were arrested and charged with distributing child porn related charges after they took naked pictures of a little Tel Aviv girl and distributed those pictures through the internet, according to police reports in Tel Aviv, Israel.
After a sting operation on Wednesday, police arrested 12 men suspected of involvement in an online pedophile ring.
The investigation began in last month, after the parents of a 12-year-old girl discovered that she had been in contact with several men on the Internet who had requested that she send naked pictures of herself in sexually suggestive poses.
Police said they found child pornography pictures and videos on some of the computers belonging to the suspects.
Central District Police Commander Bentzi Sau promised "no mercy for these criminals", and asked parents to be aware of what their children are doing, even when using the Internet at home.
“If parents are not extremely careful some people, who are worse than animals, will take advantage of little innocent girls. This story should be a warning signal to parents to keep a watchful eye on their young daughters,” Bar Michaelison, 35, of Eilat, Israel told YourJewishNews.com after learning about the online pedohile ring.
