(Scroll down for video) Police now suspect that the elder Boston terrorist might have killed two Jews on the 9/11 anniversary, according to press reports in the United States.

Investigators in the suburbs of Boston said that Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the older Boston Marathon attacker, who was killed in a shootout with police, may have been involved in a gruesome unsolved triple homicide of a former roommate and two others.

The killings took place on September 11, 2011 the tenth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attack of 2001.

"We are studying a possible connection between the suspect in the marathon bombing and an active open homicide investigation in Waltham,'' Stephanie Guyotte, a spokesperson for the district attorney of Middlesex County, said.

The murder victims were found in an apartment in Waltham, Massachusetts. Their throats had been slashed.
Tsarnaev had been close to one of the victims, 25-year-old Brendan Mess, investigators said. The two had been training together at a local gym. It was unclear whether Tsarnaev knew the other victims who were killed, who were identified by police as Raphael Tekken, 37, and Eric Weissman, 31, both Jewish.

“It turns out these these two terrorists were dangerous men for quite some time. It is regretful that police did not do more to investigate these two and bring them to justice earlier, before unleashing their terror in Boston,” Barbara Wilson, 46, of Boston, Massachusetts told YourJewishNews.com after learning about the murder investigation.Mobile video not loading?
