(Scroll down for video) 5 students were arrested and charged after beating a student at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, according to a statement by Jerusalem, Israel, police.
5 teens, who were students from another school, beat a Ma’aleh Adumim student during a tour of the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem.
The 5 teens were arrested and charged with assault related charges.
The student told police last Thursday that the teens started beating him after he joked with his girlfriend about the hat of one of the 5 students.
In response, he said, the high school student from Hod Hasharon and ten of his friends were waiting for him at the end of the tour in the memorial courtyard. They then proceeded to attack, beat and kick him all over his body. A teacher and a security guard of the Yad Vashem memorial also suffered injuries when they tried to stop the beating.
The students were arrested after police investigators in Jerusalem received security camera videos of the Yad Vashem memorial which recorded the entire incident. The video showed that students attacked and beat the boy from Ma'aleh Adumim.
