Ultra-Orthodox Jews mourning the 65th birthday of Israel |
(Scroll down for video) As the entire nation of Israel and Jews from around the world were celebrating the 65th birthday of Israel, some ultra-Orthodox Jews were seen on video mourning Israel’s 65th birthday.
The video also showed how one ultra-Orthodox Jewish father placed a sack on his toddler who looks to be around one-year-old. Wearing a sack signals that Jews are in deep emotional distress, physical danger, and are begging God for help.
Other children are also shown in the video. The video showed the group sitting on the floor and reading verses from the Bible that talk about the destruction of the first Temple in Jerusalem, Israel. The group compared the creation of modern Israel to the tragedy of the destruction of the first and second Temples.
“We gathered today to mourn the creation of Israel. It is the biggest uprising against God in history of mankind,” one ultra-Orthodox Jew from the group said.
“I am totally disgusted by what this group did. The day when all Jews are celebrating the birth of State of Israel, which is the homeland of the Jewish people, these people have the nerve to mourn. They are like small children throwing a tantrum,” Judith Corbin, 55, of Beit Shemesh, Israel told YourJewishNews.com after watching the video.
The Neturei Karta, an ultra-Orthodox Jewish group that vehemently opposes the State of Israel, and regularly meets with the enemies of Israel, including the President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, held protest against the State of Israel in several large cities around the world, according to video uploaded to the internet.Mobile video not loading?
