Ralph the fat bunny rabbit |
(Scroll down for video) People from around the world were treated to watch the world’s largest bunny rabbit, according to video uploaded to the internet.
In the video below, you can see that this is just a giant rabbit weighing 55 pounds.
Ralph, a giant 4-year-old rabbit claimed the Guinness World Record title for the world’s largest rabbit, a title taken from a rabbit that was crowned several years ago.
The bodacious bunny eats about $90 worth of food per week. Each meal includes cabbage, broccoli, corn on the cob, half a cucumber, carrot, corn, two slices of bread, two apples, watercress and half a bag of cookies.
"Ralph has matured and now is the heaviest I've ever had seen it," its owner, Pauline Grant, said.
She cares for Ralph at the horse rescue center in East Sussex, and relies on donations from visitors to help feed the monster. She said that Ralph is in perfect health despite his weight.
"Here is a big place and it can go anywhere it wants. It has a great life and not just kept in a hut. Its diet is amazing," she said.
“This is one huge rabbit. I cannot believe it is real, but it is. Ralph is very cute to watch,” Kimberly Cumberland, 19, of Manchester, England told YourJewishNews.com after seeing the bunny.
The bunny comes from a family of rabbit giants. Its mother, Amy, held the record for the biggest bunny until it died of a heart attack four years ago, and the weight of its father also held a previous record.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
