(Scroll down for video) One monkey won’t be able to spend time with Justin Bieber anymore. This came about after officials took the monkey away for some reason, according to press reports in Germany.
Justin Bieber will also have to stop monkeying around.
Customs officials confiscated the pet monkey from the increasingly erratic pop star, called Mally, after the pair landed in Germany on Thursday.
The "Baby" singer did not have the necessary documents for the capuchin monkey in order to bring it into the country, so the animal had to stay with the authorities, a spokesperson for customs officials told the press.
“The monkey is probably devastated being away from his beloved Bieber. Customs officials should have let Bieber keep the monkey with him this time,” Chris Rogers, 23, who is a Bieber fan, told YourJewishNews.com.
However, others disagreed. “No matter who you are even if you are a famous personality you still need to follow the laws like everyone else,” Jessica Boon, 27, of San Diego, California, told YourJewishNews.com.
The teen idol and his monkey friend, whom he received as a gift from record producer Jamal Rashid, also known as Mally Mall, travel frequently together.
