A warehouse that contained thousands of Jewish sacred books and other religious articles, was burned by vandals, according to police reports in Israel.
Haifa Police said that a warehouse containing religious objects burned down on Sunday, and according to the preliminary investigation the cause of the fire was arson.
At 7:00 p.m., firefighters were called to Sirkin Street on reports of heavy smoke billowing out from one of the buildings.
Two firefighting units responded to the scene and extinguishing the fire.
Fire officials reported heavy damage to the warehouse.
Police launched an investigation into the attack, but so far, no arrests have been made.
