A baby was left seriously injured after a synagogue roof collapsed, according to rescue workers in Israel.
Magen David Adom said that a three-month-old was moderately wounded on Thursday, after the roof of a caravan synagogue collapsed in the city of Modi'in Illit in central Israel. The baby suffered a head injury.
Magen David Adom also reported that five more people, including four women, were slightly injured and are suffering from injuries.
All are expected to recover.
Rescue workers said that the roof collapsed because of the recent heavy rains.
