(Scroll down for video) A woman posted an advertisement on craigslist asking men to help fulfil her bizarre fantasy of being kidnapped and raped.
Mary Kate Gullickson, 20, is a North Dakota State University student. She was jailed after she allegedly posted a request for sex on Craigslist, then told police she had been kidnapped and raped.
According to campus police, Gullickson published an advertisement on craigslist, claiming she wanted to play out her sexual fantasy involving a mock kidnapping and rape.
She did not have a hard time to find men who were willing to be involved in her fantasy. Gullickson chose a man and told him where she will be so he can “kidnap her”. The man followed her instructions. He picked her up at the prearranged spot and then dropped her off at the agreed upon spot.
The man tied her up with duct tape and then forced her to have sex. The man dropped her off at the prearranged spot. Gullickson immediately went to the police and said she had been kidnapped and raped.
The news of the alleged rape spread across the campus of North Dakota State University, prompting police to spend a lot of manpower and resources towards identifying a suspect in the case.
When hearing about the investigation, the man who agreed to the fulfill Gullickson’s fantasy, stepped forward to set the record straight about the incident.
Investigators traced Gullickson’s craigslist advertisement and found the email and phone number associated with it. The investigators also looked through her iPhone containing many replies to the advertisement.
Guillickson also allegedly asked some of the respondents to pay her $100 for the privilege of participating in the fantasy with her.
When asked why she lied to police about the alleged rape, Gullickson said that her boyfriend forced her to report the encounter as rape.
“You have to be extremely careful when it comes to meeting strangers on craigslist. There are all kinds of crazy people and you can really get hurt,” a North Dakota State University student told YourJewishNews.com.
Gullickson was booked in jail and charged with providing false information to police.
She pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to one year suspended sentence and a year of supervised probation.
