Three children went missing after they left school.
Days after they were reported missing, the three children were found in a hotel in India.
The students left the Jhalari Educational Academy of the Kanchanpur District in Nepal, and never made it home.
Their parents were at their wit's end after frantically searching in all possible places, but to no avail.
It seemed as though their kids vanished without a trace.
The parents were terrified. They thought that their children might have been kidnapped and taken to India, as part of child trafficking.
The parents turned to police to help track the whereabouts of their children.
As the days passed, the suspicion that they had been kidnapped only grew stronger.
Police began a widespread search for them. The children were identified as Keshav Bista, 13, Nabin Bista, 13 and Bhuwan Bhatta, 14, all seventh graders.
After much searching and some sleepless nights, the teens were found safe and sound, having a good time at a hotel in India.
The teens have taken money from their parents and headed to in India “for fun.”
Police are calling the incident "a frivolous act of teenage boys.”
