A Georgia court has ruled that a man has violated his contract with his fiancee by breaking his promise to marry her.

He was ordered to pay over $50,000 in damages.

Although he never officially asked her to marry him, Christopher Kelley, gave his fiancee a ring valued at about $10,000.

After he gave her the ring, Kelley bought a house and the couple moved in together.

His fiancee, Melissa Cooper, became pregnant and gave birth to their son.

Cooper claimed that Kelley asked her to leave her job to stay home and raise their new son along with his son from a previous relationship, according to a court document.

During the relationship, Cooper learned that Kelley had been in a two-year relationship with another woman while seeing her.

Cooper confronted him, but the two decided to work things out, and she agreed to stay with him.

"He promised that he will never see the other woman again, and he promised to marry her," she said in court documents.

The couple lived together for almost 10 years, when Cooper learned that Kelly was still in a relationship with the other woman.

He confessed that he wanted to be with the other woman.

He told Cooper to move out of his house with her children.

Cooper was devastated by this development, the court document said.

In response, Cooper filed a series of lawsuits, including fraud and breach of contract to marry.

The Superior Court of Coweta County, awarded her $43,500 and her attorney's fees and of $6,500.

Kelley appealed the decision.

However, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, ruled in favor of the woman saying that the promise of marriage is enforceable, and the fact that the couple lived together before and after the marriage proposal was proof of the promise to marry her.

Cooper plans to use part of the $50,000 to buy a house for herself and her two children, who she has primary physical custody of. Kelley pays child support for his son.
