| The goat in court |
(Scroll down for video) A goat was present in court when a man was sentenced to 10 year in prison for raping it, according to video uploaded to the Internet.
Katana Kitsao Gona, 28, of Kenya, was sentenced to prison on Friday, after admitting he had sex with the goat.
The goat was present in court after prosecutors brought it as evidence in the case.
Gona was caught committing the crime on Monday, Chief Inspector Jimmy Kema said.
A neighbor told prosecutors that he was urinating behind a bush when he realized that clothes were hanging on a tree. When he went to Investigate he found Gona naked and having sex with the goat. The victim was tied to graze.
The goat owner was alerted along with other villagers, who caught Gona red handed. Police quickly took him into custody.
A report from the district veterinary officer said that blood was found, providing evidence of sexual abuse.
Although Gona apologized in court, saying he had a disabled wife who depended on him, the judge gave him the 10 year sentence, a record long sentence for bestiality.
