The billboard
By: Eva Fett

(Scroll down for video) A new cool technology by British Airways, allows you to know what plane is flying above your head.

The first billboard of this kind was placed in Piccadilly Circus in London, United Kingdom.

The interesting high-tech new billboard advertising campaign by British Airways, which uses surveillance technology, shows a child looking up and pointing to a real airplane in the sky as it flies by.

He walks along, and follows the plane with his finger, before the flight number and destination appear on the billboard.

The message reads: "Look, it's BA475 flight from Barcelona."

The guessing game is over, now you can actually find out where those planes are heading to.

"We always hear people on the ground wondering where the planes are heading to,” Abigail Comber, British Airways’ head of marketing, said.

This clever technology allows people to get the answer on the spot.

"We hope this will create a real 'wow' so that people will remember how amazing flying is and how accessible the world can be,” she said.
