A little girl suffered serious burn injuries after a pot of hot oil used to fry donuts for a Hanukkah party toppled over her, according to rescue workers in Israel.
Magen David Adom Petah Tikva said that a 7-year-old girl was burned from hot oil. The girl sustained serious and severe injuries after boiling hot oil spilled from a pot in donuts were being fried.
The incident occurred at the family home located on Sokolov Street.
Magen David Adom Petah Tikva paramedics, who arrived at the scene, gave the girl primary care, and transported her to Beilinson Hospital for further treatment.
Police investigators said that they are unsure why the pot of oil toppled over the girl. An investigation is still ongoing.
